Apexpose Privacy Policy

Introduction
Apexpose is a browser extension designed to help Oracle APEX developers inspect page items and their values during development and debugging.
Data Collection
Apexpose reads the following data from Oracle APEX application pages when you explicitly click the extension icon:
- HTML element IDs (e.g., P1_ENTITY_NAME, P1_LOCATION)
- Form field values from input, select, and textarea elements
- Element attributes (type, class name, readonly status)
- Display element text content
How Data is Used
All collected data is:
- Processed locally in your browser
- Displayed in the extension popup for inspection
- Not transmitted to any external servers
- Not stored persistently (data is cleared when the popup is closed)
Optional Data Export
You may optionally export the displayed data as a CSV file. This file is:
- Saved locally to your device
- Not uploaded or transmitted anywhere
- Under your complete control
Data Sharing
Apexpose does not:
- Transmit any data to external servers
- Share data with third parties
- Use analytics or tracking services
- Store data beyond the active session
Third-Party Access
No third parties have access to any data processed by Apexpose.
Permissions Explained
The extension requests the following permissions:
- activeTab: To access the currently open APEX page when you click the extension icon
- scripting: To read page elements and their values from the active tab
- **host_permissions ()**: To work with APEX applications hosted on any domain
User Control
You maintain full control:
- The extension only activates when you click the icon
- You can uninstall the extension at any time
- No data persists after uninstallation
